When Slickdeals Attack

It was quite a day for our RotW (restaurant of the week) program and our featured restaurant - Chef Xiu in Mountain View.  We learned first hand how powerful the "sd" effect can be.  Throughout the day, we ratched back the lead time for pick-up orders, but the power of Slickdeals outran our ability to control the order flow for this promotion.  For GetQuik, it was fun to be on the Slickdeals homepage and watch the orders stream in.  For Chef Xiu, it was more than they bargained for.

The RotW program is going through growing pains, but we have a plan!  The 50% off take-out orders only works if we can provide our customers with a timely and realistic pick-up time.  To that end, we will be managing the available pick-up times and total orders to our RotW in order to provide a more betterer experience for y'all.  Thank you for your patience as we get our sd together.  Our apologizes to our deal takers who had to wait on orders today.
