New Kid on the Block...

Hello World! I am the newest GetQuik intern and I thought I’d play narcissist for the day and introduce myself and tell you all a little about me. First off my name is Christina, but I go by Chris—Call me Chrissy and I may have to cut you—hehe. I’m all of 25 years of age, born and bred right here in the Bay Area. I absolutely love living here. I really cannot see myself living anywhere else. Such a fantastic melting pot to live in; with my diverse heritage I fit right in. Of course I could do without the traffic, that’s a given, but the weather, food and nightlife make the daily grind bearable. I’m a hardcore crafter--in fact my knitting needles should probably be registered as deadly weapons--I’ll give you a little bit of free advice…Don’t ever sneak up on a knitter. It’s bad. I also love sewing, my true or should I say current passion. I tend to be a little ADD when it comes to crafting, I pick one up put one down, but I do always come back to the sewing machine. I really wish more people crafted. There is nothing better than taking nothing and making something. Living in a world of mass produced, mediocre, 2 for 1 blue light specials actually making something original with your own two hands can be so rewarding and fulfilling. If there’s anything I’d like you to take from my little rant, it would be to get out there and try something new. Get creative in your life; we all need an outlet to escape the hustle and bustle of daily life. Trust me.
